At Freeport Home Medical Equipment, Inc., our retail showroom provides the largest selection of durable medical equipment. Patients and family members can:

• Choose ambulatory, bath, or personal aids to assist with daily living activities
• Get a cane, walker, or scooter
• Have a stair glide, auto lift, or ramping system installed
• Rent a hospital bed
• Obtain diabetic supplies.

Disposable medical supply products, including ostomy, urological, incontinence, and wound-care supplies are also stocked. 

A variety of oxygen services and devices for adult sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea are provided by the licensed respiratory staff. 

Customer service – to referral sources and consumers – has always been the hallmark of the company. Emphasis is placed on instructing patients on how to use the equipment they need, as well as explaining the insurance coverages and any personal obligations. Staff is also trained to know what area non-profit organizations offer that customers may not be aware of.

Freeport Home Medical Equipment offers a range of services expected from a national supplier with the flexibility, rapid response, and attention to detail that only a local supplier can provide. We provide services in the following Illinois counties: Stephenson, Winnebago, Jo Daviess, Whiteside, Ogle, Carroll, Boone, and Lee, and also Wisconsin's Green county. Other counties are considered on a case-to-case basis.

Freeport Home Medical Equipment Inc. is able to bill most insurance carriers.Please call our showroom to obtain specific benefits.  We routinely work with the following providers: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, ECOH, First Health, Home Link, Hospice Care of America, Medicare, Medicaid IDPA, NIHP, and Personal Care.
